Ease Celiac Disease

What causes Celiac?

Celiac is caused by the immune reaction to gluten, which is a protein found in wheat.
However, there can be other underlying factors that may contribute to its onset, such as genetics, infections, and stress.

  1. Genetics play a significant role in the development of celiac disease, with some individuals being more susceptible to the disease due to certain genetic markers.
  2. Infections, such as viral and bacterial infections, can also trigger the onset of celiac disease in susceptible individuals.
  3. Microbiome Imbalance: Imbalances in gut bacteria may contribute to inflammation and immune dysregulation, potentially increasing the risk of developing celiac disease.
  4. Physical trauma or surgical procedures involving the gastrointestinal tract may disrupt the intestinal barrier and trigger the immune response to gluten, potentially leading to celiac disease.
  5. Some medications, such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and antibiotics, may alter gut microbiota composition and increase intestinal permeability, potentially contributing to the development of celiac disease.
